I hope you had a wonderful September and are looking forward to a fantastic Fall Break! I am looking forward to a great rehearsal on Wednesday.

CHORUS SHIRTS
Our shirts will be distributed the week we return from fall break!

Attendance
Students who accumulate more than three unexcused absences or 8 total absences may be removed from the chorus roster. Jackson After School parents: I am noticing the greatest trend of absences among our students who attend JAS. Please review our attendance policy with your student.

We will not have rehearsal on October 10 or October 31.

Hawks Game 2019 -National Anthem Performance January 13, 2019 - National Anthem @ Atlanta Hawks 3:30 PM | State Farm Arena
We are limited to 40 singers, it usually works out well. It the last 8 years, we have only had more than the allowed number of performers once. The PTA will provide information on ticket sales beginning after fall break. Please fill out the interest sheet HERE so that I can ensure we have enough performers, and I can notify you pre-purchase if we have too many.

I hope you enjoyed the long weekend. Our next rehearsal is Wednesday! Jackson Chorus is 107 voices strong! This will be our first rehearsal with all 107 voices - I can't wait to hear our students.

Order Your Chorus Shirt!
We have a new design on our shirt this year! They are very similar to the old shirts and it is acceptable to continue wearing your black star shirts from last year if you prefer. If you are new to chorus, or your student has outgrown their shirt; please order your chorus shirt here.

Attendance Policy
Please make every effort to attend weekly rehearsals and performances. Attendance at weekly rehearsals is crucial to the success of our group! Please email Mr. White if your student is going to be absent. Students who accumulate more than 8 absences will be removed from the chorus roster.

Hawks Game Confirmed
January 13, 2019 - National Anthem @ Atlanta Hawks | 3:30 PM | Philips Arena
We will be performing the National Anthem at the Hawks game on January 13. We are allowed only 40 spots for singers... more details to come!
